Everything was just amazing. Best authentic ramen I've had so far in DFW area. The chef was so nice. He tried making something with beef and was generous enough to let everyone try it out with their special BBQ sauce. Must visit according to me.

One of the first things I noticed when looking at the restaurants menu and website is that the owner's focused on making sure guests follow the dining experience he envisioned. You need to follow the rules he shares or take your business elsewhere, which is something I respect and appreciate. The shrimp appetizer was very good. It was crispy and the creamy sauce gave it a unique flavor. The Ramen was excellent. Creamy broth! This fusion of Japanese ramen and a subtle Italian style was very enjoyable.

I got the spicy garlic chicken ramen and it was out of this world. Might be my newest favorite ramen in DFW. Definitely coming back and would 10/10 recommend.

As they operate out of Moonlight atm, seating fills up quickly during dinner hours. Highly recommend making reservations after 6 PM on their busy days. Jazz-themed decor and music made the dining experience very intimate. My wife and I each got our own ramen and opted for the daily chutoro special; it did not disappoint. It was so fresh that my wife, who is usually unable to eat seafood due to the smell of most sashimi, was able to enjoy two large pieces of the chutoro. The Nagoya ramen has a spicy kick from the special chili oil, and the Tokyo shoyu ramen is definitely full of umami. If you haven't dined here yet, you are definitely missing out!

The spicy garlic ramen tastes like it was crafted to perfection. Sitting at the bar offers a front-row seat to the culinary artistry—each ingredient cooked separately with care. The eggs are a highlight, perfectly soft-boiled with a creamy, golden center. The broth is rich, bold, and full of flavor with just the right kick of spice. This place is always my go-to spot. Thank you

Y’all... I just had the spicy garlic chicken ramen at Akira and I’m actually speechless!First of all, that broth?? Rich. Spicy. Garlicky. It hit like a warm hug and a mic drop at the same time. The chicken karage was like soya glazed crispy chicken which was also so good!
